Viking not only did the work they were contracted to do, but also fixed issues from previous shoddy workmanship of other contractors. They explain in detail, show you what is wrong, and make it right. I have never had a better experience with a contractor. Viking remodeled my home, creating a kitchenette, upstairs laundry and full basement bath. Other contractors were consulted, but Viking had the most creative solutions to maximize the footprint and flow. When I asked for revisions to some initial plans, they provided them with kindness and thoughtfulness, when most other contractors would complain at the extra effort needed to do that. Whatever the inspectors required, they provided, and then went above and beyond. They did not skip a beat when I asked questions. Sometimes contractors can be condescending or defensive, especially when the homeowner asks logical questions. Viking was clear and detailed in their responses which helped me understand why each choice was the best alternative for each situation. They sent me pictures of progress from demolition to framing to finish. When they relocated my hot water heater, they upgraded it to have an overflow tank at no added cost. They noticed a quirky shut off valve in a strange place, and even though it passed inspection, they pointed it out to me and put in a small access panel so that if any issue should occur, I could get to that quickly. They put in access panels to easily get to the whole house water treatment system and the sump pump as well. It turned out that unpermitted work was done by a previous homeowner and the electrical needed to be upgraded. Viking had no problem doing this as an extended scope of work. I really wanted a tiled backsplash in the kitchenette, but had to sacrifice it and other things to cover the needed upgrade to the electrical and other costs that should have been grandfathered in. Viking really surprised me with doing the backsplash for free. You don’t get kindness and thoughtfulness like that very much in life from complete strangers, I could have cried. Not only that, they upgraded my kitchen countertop from builders basic to granite at no added cost. They extended the width of my shower at no added cost. They removed low hanging, wobbly ceiling fans at no added cost. They added lighting to brighten up the basement at no added cost. They made sure bathroom exhaust ventilation installed by previous homeowners going to the attic was properly done at no added cost. Viking is simply fantastic. During the renovation, I received notice that my enclosed porch had open permits from a previous homeowner. I asked Viking to add this to their scope of work and they did so without hesitation. The requested changes would have cost a fortune. I felt defended and protected by Viking’s stance on the matter. Again, they came to the rescue with creative solutions to minimize costs and appease the inspectors without cutting corners. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done (Not just picking up tools, I mean clean like wiping everything down and vacuuming / shampooing carpets.) Viking is my go-to contractor from now on.
Viking Brothers did a lot of work on my home and it was all top-notch, high-quality work. They really listened to what I wanted and worked to make things just right, were always very professional, and work was done on time. Very highly recommended!

I was very impressed by the quality of work Viking Brothers performed in such a short notice. We needed our kitchen floor installed before my daughter's wedding (I had 2 weeks to get it done). David came in gave me an estimate and was able to start the next day. Despite being a job that needed to be expidited the waorkmanship was not compromised at all. I would recommend Viking Brothers to anyone needing a licensed contractor.
